Young Adult and Youth Ministry

The church nurtures and empowers its young members, not only at the local level but through the worldwide Youth Ministries department, which oversees ministries to specific age groups. The Adventist Youth Society—created by youth for youth more than 125 years ago—now links 10 million youth on every continent of the globe.

The Youth Ministries department mission statement reflects its emphasis on service and its confidence in the abilities of the younger generation: “To lead young people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and help them embrace His call to discipleship.”

The Seventh-day Adventist Church focuses on youth because it is indebted to them for its beginnings and it depends on them for its future.

Youth Ministries means more than Sabbath School every week. Our Youth Ministry provides support and encouragement for young people at what can be a most critical part of their Christian experience.

Creating an environment where young people are safe to share and explore their faith, ask questions and openly express their challenges is one of the main goals of this ministry.

NAD Young Adult Ministries supports you in your efforts to reach, empower, and love young adults better in your community for Jesus.

Mission: REACH young adult leadership with support and encouragement, CONNECT leaders to a growing community, help leaders EXPAND their influence, DISCOVER a ministry model that works for them, and together create a united Young Adult ministry effort to GLORIFY Jesus!
